The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has announced of a 12-hour scheduled power interruption in parts of Iloilo City set on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
The power outage is set from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"The brownout will affect MORE (Mandurriao Mobile and Megaworld Substations) due to continuation of upgrading- related works at NGCP’s Iloilo Substation," the advisory read.
“Specific affected areas are determined by the Distribution Utility. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled,” the advisory added.
