Farmers in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte began harvesting their corn early to prevent crop damage due to continuous heavy rains in the area.
Some of the crops have also been attacked by armyworms, another reason why farmers had to act fast.
According to the farmers, the corn is mature enough for harvest, so they are now working hard to save what they can.
Despite the early harvest, farmers say they already have buyers lined up.
