Heavy rainshowers expected over Negros Oriental areas

Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division issued Thunderstorm Advisory No. 16 at 1:12 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025, on moderate to heavy rainshowers expected over areas in Negros Oriental.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over #NegrosOriental (Municipalities of Mabinay, Manjuyod, Pamplona, and Amlan) within the next one (1) to 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in #Palawan (City of Puerto Princesa), #NegrosOriental (City of Tanjay and City of Bais) which may persist within one (1) to two (2) hours and may affect nearby areas.

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates," Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division said.
