A snake landed suddenly on the windshield of a car that was traveling in Banga, South Cotabato.

The incident happened evening on Friday, July 11, 2025.

According to the driver, Julius Golez, he was traveling with his wife and child to attend a birthday party when, while passing through a dark portion of the road, a snake suddenly landed on the car’s windshield.

To try to remove the snake, Golez turned on the wipers.

“Noong nasa malapit na kami sa area na yun, medyo madilim, may mga kahoy… bigla na lang sabi ng asawa ko na may ahas akala ko naman yung ahas nasa daan, so lahat kami nag panic,” Golez said.

Despite the shock, Golez did not stop driving and kept the wipers on until the snake finally slid off.

"So hindi namin akalain na pwede palang mangyari na mahulog ka ng ahas sa kadaming sasakyan na dumaraan kami pa yung na tiyempuhan ng ahas na doon nag land sa windshield namin,” Golez added.

The next morning, they checked the vehicle to ensure it was gone. Fortunately, the snake had disappeared. They were not able to identify what type of snake it was or where it came from.
