A power interruption is expected to affect Barangays Guadalupe, Labangon, and Cogon Pardo in Cebu City on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The Visayas Electric Company (VECO) announced that a power outage is set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the areas of Good Shepherd, Banawa Tugas, Remedios, Kalubihan, and Kalumbuyan, for the improvement on the distribution system in Barangay Guadalupe.
From 9 a.m. to noontime, a brownout in Barangay Labangon meant for the reconstruction of secondary lines is expected to affect Lopez Street, Katipunan Street, portions of Sitios Nalsubi, Bonbonan, Cogon, and Camalig.
From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., a power interruption is expected to affect Sitios Lourdes and Millennium in Barangay Cogon Pardo to give way to improvements in the distribution system in the area.
