The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) joined the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II with a flag-raising ceremony on Monday, September 8, 2025.

During the event, PMA honored the lives of heroes who fought for the country’s freedom.

PMA Superintendent said that even after 80 years, the courage of those who fought for independence continues to be praised.

He also highlighted the strong ties between the Philippines and the United States, who stood as allies during the war.

The Academy added that it shares lessons from history to guide cadets in becoming military officers ready to serve the nation and its people.
