The Vietnam Coast Guard has provided assistance to victims of the deadly quake in northern Cebu, particularly in the Municipality of Tabogon. 

Personnel of the Vietnam Coast Guard handed over at least 32 sacks of rice and ten boxes of noodles to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Cebu morning on October 8, 2025. 

It was learned that the goods are provisions taken while on a trip here in Cebu, but Vietnam Coast Guard decided to donate the items to quake victims who need these most. 

Personnel of the Vietnam Coast Guard have assisted the PCG in medical efforts in northern Cebu. 

The Vietnam Coast Guard arrived in Cebu on October 6, 2025 and are set to join a maritime search and rescue, firefighting, and oil spill response exercise with the PCG, according to Commodore Algier Ricafrente, chief of PCG International Affairs.
