Residents of Barangay Teppeng in Sinait, Ilocos Sur welcomed police officers with cheers as the group arrived not to arrest anyone, but to give early holiday gifts.

The officers, wearing Santa hats and carrying bags of supplies, handed out grocery items, dog leashes, and other daily needs. They also gave wheelchairs to residents with disabilities.

Police said the activity was part of their 45-day Police Community Affairs and Development Course under Region 1, which requires community outreach work.

The group also held a medical mission, feeding program, and free haircut service for the community.

Residents thanked the police for the early Christmas gifts and the services brought to their barangay.
