The Mandaue City Government is set to distribute Noche Buena food packs to all households in the city.

Approximately 100,000 food packs are being prepared for all households in Mandaue City, according to Mayor Thadeo Jovito (Jonkie) Ouano.

The house-to-house distribution will start on December 14, 2025. Each family will get one food pack.

The list will be based on the 2023 Community-Based Monitoring System, or the CBMS census.

The list showed of at least 86,000 households in the city.

The number of food packs has reached 100,000 to provide all residents who are not in the census but validated to be bona fide residents.

”At least lipay ang katawhan, naa silay magamit, kada Pasko bisan unsa pay mahitabo, malipayon ang mga Mandauehanon,” Ouano said.

Each food pack is worth P600 and contains 10 items that include spaghetti and sauce, luncheon meat, fruit cocktail, all-purpose cream, cheese, and canned goods.

Ouano thanked the assistance of the City Council for allocating funds for the food packs.

“Board Member pa ko mangutana ko nila, inig suroy sa barangay kumusta man inyong Pasko, ‘Board, among Pasko mura ra man ordinaryo nga adlaw kay wa mi ikagasto pang Noche Buena,’ mapasalamaton ko’g dako sa atong City Council,” Ouano added.
