An unexploded ordnance (UXO), otherwise known as a vintage bomb, was dug up in Talisay City, Cebu.
The vintage bomb was unearthed on December 21, 2025, and is believed to be a remnant of the Second World War.
The person who reported the incident to the police said reportedly that the vintage bomb was dug up in Barangay Cansojong while a house, devastated by Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) on November 4, 2025, is undergoing repair works.
The Talisay City Police reported immediately the matter to the Explosive Ordnance Department of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 for its proper disposal, according to its chief, Police Lt. Col. Homobuno Sayon.
