The Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) is urging senior high school graduates to take advantage of job opportunities offered by the office.

According to a report by GMA Super Radyo Davao, CDRRMO head, Alfredo Baloran, said senior high school graduates may apply for positions under the Emergency Medical Service (EMS).

However, applicants must be willing to undergo training and must be physically fit and in good health.

Baloran said that around 20 slots are available, as of this writing.

Aside from EMS personnel, the office is also hiring for fire service and urban search and rescue personnel, as well as drivers for mobile patrol cars.

With the expected increase in personnel, CDRRMO also aims to expand the number of Central 911 satellite offices.

CDRRMO said aside from its personnel, it is also equipped with adequate equipment to ensure faster and more efficient service to residents, especially during emergencies and disasters.

Central 911 has five satellite offices in the city located in Toril, Calinan, Baganihan, Panacan, and Cabantian.
