A delegation from Guam is among Iloilo City Government's anticipated guests for the Dinagyang Festival 2026. 

“They will be part of the Mayor’s Dinner and part sila nang lahat ng activities natin dito,” Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas said.

It was learned that the delegation will be headed by its mayor. Aside from their participation to Dinagyang-related activities, the guests will have opportunities to visit tourist spots in the city.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) has assured free tour guides and tour buses for the said guests.

“Since we have a lot of visitors, naglagay na tayo ng timeslot. Since marami ang pumupunta dito, maaari kaming magbigay ng tour guides or free tours. We did a timeslot and para hindi rin mahirap at lahat ay ma-accommodate,” Treñas said.

Tourists are expected to take part in the Ilomination, a portmanteau of "Iloilo" and "illumination" (brighten with light), among several Dinagyang-related activities.

As for the food festival, tribal contingents are expected to provide entertainment to the guests.
