A scheduled power interruption in parts of Iloilo City and Iloilo Province is set on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
The power outage is from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Affected areas include MORE (Molo, Diversion, IPG and Arevalo Substations) and Iloilo Electric Cooperative (ILECO) 1 (Pavia Substation).
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said that the power interruption is due to the resumption of upgrading and preventive maintenance works at NGCP's Iloilo Substation deferred previously.
Specific affected areas are determined by the distribution utility and electric cooperative.
NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.
