The Police Regional Office-Northern Mindanao (PRO-10) is set to deploy around 1,430 personnel to towns and cities across the region to ensure public safety during the opening of classes on June 8, 2026.
PRO-10 said police officers will be assigned near schools, malls, transport terminals, and other public areas expected to draw large crowds.
The deployment aims to provide quick response to any incidents and maintain order as students return to school.
PRO-10 also emphasized that the safety of teachers, school staff, and the public remains a priority.
