At least 30 members of the Aeta indigenous community in Angeles City received a driver's license after completing a free driving school training program provided by the city government.

The program aims to improve access to employment and livelihood opportunities by equipping participants with driving skills and valid licenses.

City officials said the initiative offers more than the ability to drive, describing it as a pathway to better jobs, more stable incomes, and improved futures for the beneficiaries and their families.

The local government said it will continue to implement programs that provide practical benefits to different sectors of society, including indigenous communities.
