Authorities have rescued five puppies believed to have been abandoned at a vacant in Barangay Datu Abdul, Panabo City, Davao del Norte.

Personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Panabo City Fire Station responded to the area after receiving information and request for assistance from the Panabo Animal Rescue Volunteers (PARVO).

The puppies are now under the care of PARVO, where they are receiving proper attention, food, and temporary shelter.

Following the incident, authorities reminded the public to become responsible pet owners and avoid neglecting or abandoning their pets.
