A durian-inspired museum at Palma Gil Street, Davao City is set to open in 2024.

According to the city government, the five-storey building will be the first component museum of the National Museum of the Philippines in Southeastern Mindanao.

The city government, through the Museo Dabawenyo, will manage the operation of the 5th floor of the building.

‘It will feature artworks, artifacts, and specimens that are important to both local and national histories.’
