Primetime Goddess Carla Abellana remains a solid Kapuso as she renews her contract with leading broadcasting company GMA Network today, January 29.

Carla is beyond thankful as she continues her journey as a Kapuso actress.

“I am more than delighted to be here this morning, this is a very special day for me… nakakataba po ng puso, and napakahirap at this moment na magpigil ng luha at iyak,” said the multi-acclaimed actress.

In attendance during the momentous event are GMA Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President and Chief Executive Officer Gerardo R. Duavit Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, and Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes. 

Carla’s contract signing is also attended by Triple A Management President and CEO Michael B. Tuviera and Chief Financial Officer Jojo C. Oconer.

 

EXCELLENT, BEAUTIFUL, AND MULTI-ACCLAIMED

Known for her multi-awarded portrayals and onscreen versatility, Carla first captured hearts when she played “Rosalinda” in 2009, her first titular role on TV which also won her a PMPC Best New Female TV Personality Award in 2010.

The Ilongga actress received words of commendation from GMA Network’s Chairman, Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, and President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., who both expressed their elation over Carla’s reaffirmation as a solid Kapuso.

“Si Carla ay isang homegrown artist ng GMA, at siya ay isa sa pinakamagaling, maganda, at popular na artista ngayon. Kaya kami ay nagagalak na pinili niya na mag-renew sa kaniyang home studio (GMA Network),” said GMA Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.

CARLA'S COMMITMENT TO HER EVOLUTION AS AN ARTIST

The versatile actress, popular for her lead portrayals in acclaimed Kapuso shows “Rosalinda (2009),” “Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit (2011-2012),” “Makapiling Kang Muli (2012),” and “My Husband’s Lover (2013),” remains committed to her growth as an artist. 

“Hindi ko po malilimutan ito and I will take good care of this, I will continue to grow and evolve, and do my best sa aking pagiging artista and Kapuso. Maraming maraming salamat po for this opportunity,” said Carla. 

Carla is currently starring with Gabby Concepcion and Beauty Gonzales in the GMA Afternoon Prime fantasy-drama, “Stolen Life.” 

She is set to lead in the upcoming murder-mystery teleserye “Widows’ War” with fellow high-caliber actress, Bea Alonzo.
