Meet Shaquille Iverson Dumpit, known as Plume, a budding artist hailing from the scenic city of Baguio, who just released his debut single titled, "Beautiful."

Plume's journey into the world of music began when he joined choral groups at the age of 10, finding inspiration in the rich musical culture around him.

"Noong 10 ako, na-encourage rin ako na kumanta, kasi pati 'yung nanay ko kumakanta. Marami sa family namin ang kumakanta, pati ako isinasama nilang kumanta," he said.

His passion for music is further fueled by his admiration for Filipino singer Zild, whose talent has significantly influenced Plume's singing and songwriting.

"Ang idol ko now ay si Zild. Ito ang kanta niya na maganda para sa akin, kanta na dasal-kasal," Plume said.

The release of his debut single is considered a significant breakthrough, he said.

The song was inspired by his personal experiences and reflections during the pandemic.

"Noong pandemic kasi lahat walang ginagawa, doon ko naisip na gawing hobby 'yung songwriting, and [nung] time na 'yun noong nagpa-practice pa lang akong magsulat, gusto kong gumawa ng love letter type na kanta in a song form," Plume added.

'Beautiful' is more than just a song; it's a heartfelt expression that Plume believes many can relate to.

The single is available on various digital platforms worldwide.

"You can get a copy of it [my song] sa iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and other digital stores wordlwide," Plume said.
