Marian Rivera is back in her element as the Kapuso Primetime Queen stars in the upcoming GMA Prime offering, “My Guardian Alien,” a unique tale centered around an Earth-crasher alien named 11-1-20-8-5-22-9-12-5 who will get entangled with a widowed family in an extraordinary story of love, family, and extraterrestrial life forms.

During its grand media conference held on March 21, 2024, the cast of “My Guardian Alien,” bannered by Marian Rivera, Gabby Concepcion, Raphael Landicho, and Max Collins, promised to be as fun-filled and entertaining as it is stacked with life values and lessons of inspiration.

“Ito na yung moment ko sa buhay na sa tuwing may gagawin ako, gusto ko maging proud yung mga anak ko sa akin, so ito na yun, yung “My Guardian Alien,” said Rivera.

“Worth it lahat ng pag-iintay ng limang taon,” the Kapuso Primetime Queen added, who’s coming from almost five years of teleserye break.

The event was attended by Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose Sese, Program Manager Edlyn T. Abuel, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier-Cruz, and Assistant Vice President for Corporate Communications Jojo Aquio.

Completing the talented cast in attendance were Gabby Eigenmann, Raphael Landicho, Kiray Celis, Arnold Reyes, Tanya Gomez, Caitlyn Stave, Josh Ford, Sean Lucas, Tart Carlos, Christian Antolin, Kirst Viray, with Marissa Delgado.

Award-winning director Zig Dulay was also present during the media conference.

“Itong ‘My Guardian Alien,’ pine-present namin sa inyo at itinatanghal namin ang iba’t ibang pagpapahalaga na bumubuo sa pagiging tao natin - unang una na roon yung pag-unawa, paghilom, at pagmamahal hindi lamang sa sarili kundi sa kapwa at mga mahal sa buhay,” Dulay said. 

“Kapag iniisip ko yung magiging punto ng show namin na maisheshare sa milyun milyong tao na manonood, ‘yun yung nagiging inspiration ng buong team - na somehow makakatulong kami sa paglinang, at nakakapag-ambag sa pagiging mabuti ng manonood,” he added.

“My Guardian Alien” will premiere on April 1, 2024 on GMA Prime at 8:50 PM.
