A six-year-old kindergarten student of the School of Our Lady of Atocha, Inc. in Alicia, Isabela was a symbol of confidence when he went up the stage to give a message during his graduation. 

Maverick Cyrus Manango Pelayo's confident and earnest demeanor set the tone for a speech that would later go viral on social media.

"Welcome to the graduation ceremony of kindergarten school year 2023 to 2024, I am Maverick Cyrus Manango Pelayo, and on behalf of my friends and classmates, we welcome you all to this wonderful event," Pelayo said.

In his brief yet memorable message, Pelayo highlighted the growth and joy he experienced in his kindergarten journey. 

"My kindergarten school helped me grow braver, smarter, kind hearted, and more grateful. I really-really enjoyed going to school," he said.

Pelayo said he hopes to see his classmates and friends in the future.

"To my classmates and friends I hope to see you in the coming school years, as we continue to study hard for a brighter future," he said.

Pelayo also gave thanks to everyone who supported him in his journey.

The video of Pelayo's speech, posted on Facebook, went viral and amassed over six million views.
