Blanche Marie Abellana, an alumni of the University of San Carlos-Cebu, and Angeli Lou Orquia of the Ateneo de Davao University, managed to claim a spot in the top ten scorers of the August 2024 Computer-Based Psychologists Exam.
According to the official results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on August 13, the pride of USC and ADDU ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, on a list mostly dominated by takers from NCR-based universities.
USC’s Blanche Abellana garnered a total percentage rating of 87.00 to place fourth overall, which she shares with De La Salle University- Manila’s (DLSU) Gia Michaela Umil.
Just a shade under is solo fifth-ranked Angeli Orquia of ADDU who scored 86.90– less than half a point lower than the two fourth placers.
Anfernee Karl Cuenca, a graduate of Pamantasan ng Lungsond ng Maynila (PLM), topnotched the examination with a total percentage rating of 88.40.
Five of the 11 top-performing examinees hail from DLSU, while three are Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) graduates.
Both with 100% passing rates, both DLSU and ADMU emerged as the two best-performing schools in the August 2024 Computer-Based Psychologists Exam.
373 out of 448 Psychology graduates overcame the exam, good for an 83.26% national passing rate.
