Alfredo Taburada’s daily effort to bring his son, Jhon Jacob, to school on an old bicycle has captured the hearts of netizens.
The viral image, shared by a teacher from Ilocos Norte, has garnered over a million views and countless reactions.
Every day, Alfredo pedals a three-kilometer journey from their home in Barangay Sta. Maria to Jhon Jacob’s school where his son studies education. Every trip is driven by his desire to see his son succeed.
Jhon Jacob, the eldest, once stopped schooling to support his younger sibling.
Now, with his father’s support, he is focused on reaching his dream of becoming an educator.
Despite the challenges, the simple act of love and service has brought the Taburada family closer to their goals.
John Jacob said.
Through each pedal stroke, Alfredo’s journey to help his son is a testament to the power of perseverance and the strength of familial love.
And his son makes sure each drop of his father’s sweat does not go to waste.
