More than 1,500 students from various schools in Pangasinan gathered in Lingayen to participate in the 43rd Padunungan, a competition celebrating academic and artistic excellence.
The event featured a group inter-campus quiz show, on-the-spot essay writing, extemporaneous speaking, and on-the-spot poster collage-making.
Organized by the University of the Philippines Subol Society Baguio Chapter, Padunungan 2025 aimed to nurture the skills and minds of young learners while promoting a sense of advocacy among participants.
"We're gathered here not just for competition or to raise the flag of your schools, or school divisions, but we're here to call for a rallying action that this is a reality, and our theme is an intent, it's a call..." Ruvic Honrado, the overall project head, said.
