The Panagbenga Festival 2025 filled the streets of Baguio City with color and excitement as thousands of tourists gathered anew to witness the Grand Street Dance Parade and Grand Float Parade over the weekend.

As in previous year, the cold weather did not stop participants from delivering energetic performances during the Grand Street Dance Parade on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

The winning contingents in the street dance competition are:

Drum and Lyre Category

  • 1st - Lucban Elementary School (Back-to-back champion)
  • 2nd - Apolinario Mabini Central School
  • 3rd - Tuba Central Elementary School

Festival Street Dance Category

  • 1st - Saint Louis University, Baguio City
  • 2nd - Bibyun Lubuagan
  • 3rd - Tawid a Balitok

On Sunday, February 23, the Grand Float Parade showcased 44 decorated floats, the highest number of participants recorded in Panagbenga history.

Many small floats featured Year of the Snake-inspired themes, while others had butterfly and sunflower designs.

Larger floats displayed Cordilleran culture, superhero themes, and even real strawberries as decorations.

“Nakakatuwa kasi from the small float to big float, very intricate ang designs,” Andrew Pinero, Spokesperson of Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI), said.
