A total of 168 female firefighters showcased their skills in an all-women fire drill at a mall in Cauayan City, Isabela as part of National Women’s Month and the 4th Nationwide Fire Drill on High-Density Occupancies.

The drill aimed to highlight the importance of preparedness, especially in responding to fire incidents.

The female responders demonstrated evacuation procedures, alarm system testing, and fire suppression techniques.

Authorities said proper training can save lives, especially for new personnel who need hands-on experience in fire response.

Despite the challenges, participants proved women are fully capable of handling disasters, including fires.
