Gea is the first doctor in her family. She said she has drawn inspiration from a doctor who attended to her in childhood when she had fallen ill.
“Akong doktor kadto nagkasakit ko, he was very caring sa patient. I was one of those patients. I felt like if I get the chance to be like him, I am going to serve like him,” Gea shared.
When asked about her secret to success, Doctor Gea said one has to be persevering, diligent, and prayerful.
“Not a secret in itself, it’s about hard work and grit. It’s like the same as saying everybody wants to be a millionaire, but not everyone grinds to become a millionaire. The key to success is consistency and perseverance,” Gea underscored.
