The Kapuso Infinite Star is still a Kapuso!
Versatile actress Rhian Ramos has just reaffirmed her ties with GMA Network after signing a fresh contract on Tuesday, August 12.
The Kapuso Infinite Star, a homegrown artist known for her onscreen versatility acting prowess, was all smiles as she expressed her thanks to GMA whom she’s been with since her career began in 2006.
“To everyone who is here today, thank you so much. Thank you so much for the patience all of these years, I literally grew up on this network,” the 34-year-old actress said in a heartfelt message.
“Thank you for the guidance, and for inspiring me not just to be a good artist and actor but a good person,” she added.
Gracing the event were GMA Network President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong, Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Officer-In-Charge for Entertainment Group and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and Rhian’s manager Michael Uycoco.
In a message, Duavit praised Rhian for her ageless versatility, commending the Kapuso star’s "versatility, professionalism, and loyalty.”
“Sa nakalipas na dalawang dekada, buong-buo ang binigay na tiwala at husay hindi lamang sa ating lahat kundi sa ating mga manonood at mga Kapuso,” said the GMA Network chief.
“Throughout all these years, from a number of drama roles that have proven her versatility to hosting variety shows, musical varieties, and lifestyle shows… She continues to inspire us all and her co-workers,” Duavit added.
Also present during the momentous event were Rhian’s mom Clara and boyfriend entrepreneur Sam Versoza.
The San’gre star kicked off her TV career with GMA as Leah in the 2006 iconic action-fantasy series "Mars Ravelo’s Captain Barbell.”
She also starred in a number of Kapuso series such as “LaLola” (2008), “Stairway to Heaven” (2009), “The Rich Man’s Daughter” (2015), “Royal Blood” (2003), and “Pulang Araw” (2004).
She currently plays Kera Mitena in the acclaimed fantasy series “Encantadia Chronicles: San’gre.”
