The Nueva Ecija Singing Ambassadors brought home two gold medals from the prestigious Taipei Chorale Competition in Taiwan held from July 28 to August 31, 2025.

The group bested 51 choirs from different countries and bagged gold medals in both the Contemporary Category and Ethnic Category.

The choir, made up of 30 members who are all residents of Nueva Ecija, consists mostly of professionals who come together because of their shared passion for music.

“Super overwhelming and super blessed talaga po just the top most world na naisip ko talaga. Super blessed kasi nakaparami pong pinagdaanan, napakaraming challenges and obstacles but still nakapagperform po kami ng maayos tapos nakapag-uwi po tayo ng dalawang gold sa Pilipinas,” group president and founder MC Jed Gabrielle Domingo said.

Yun lamang po na makapag-compete tayo doon kasama ng ibang mga choir from the other countries ay nakapalaking biyaya na po sa aming lahat, nakapag-uwi pa nga po tayo ng dalawang ginto, that’s why very grateful,” Domingo added.

Domingo also said while they felt nervous as first-timers, their teamwork, faith, and constant prayers kept them going.

The group dedicates their victory to God and their families, whom they thanked for their full support and understanding despite their busy schedules.

They also hope their achievement will inspire young people to pursue their dreams with discipline and dedication.

“Of course to our family and to God, unang una po sa Panginoon kasi hinding hindi po namin ito magagawa without Him. Ito pong mga ito ay talento galing sa Kanya that’s why we wanted all of our lives let right He it every time na nagpe-perform po kami, magco-compete po kami. Of course sa family, sa family po namin na palaging nakasuporta, na palaging umiintindi po sa amin. Kahit kami po ay mga pagod na, gusto nila kaming mahpahinga but still we want to become successful that’s why we still rehearsing, we still practising, we spend time for what we are doing. Of course yung suporta po nila ay napakalaking bagay sa amin,” Domingo said.
