The Christmas spirit arrived early in Pampanga with the opening of the province’s biggest holiday-themed park in the town of Mexico.

The park features world-class and interactive attractions, including an illuminated wall and floor where visitors can dance, a garden with moving butterflies, and flower-sensing lights that bloom through motion sensors.

Tourists and locals alike shared their excitement.

“It’s amazing to see that people start celebrating Christmas this early… It’s September… it’s something incredible. I’ve been to other countries but here it’s something amazing for Christmas,” Ephraim Toueh, a tourist, said.

“Excited nga ang mga bata na makapasyal since Ber months na,” Jeffrey Tiglao, a visitor, added.

One of the main highlights is the “Light Show by the Lake,” designed to resemble the northern lights.

The park also offers a tunnel of lights, dandelion displays, water attractions such as swan boat rides, and several thrilling rides for families and friends.

“Pampanga represents parol, lanterns. We want to reflect that to the rest of the Philippines na dito sa Pampanga we celebrate early and we celebrate with a bang!” Architect Brian John Mangio, CEO of the park, said.

Food trucks are also available for visitors.

Entrance tickets cost P60 to P70, and the park is open daily from Monday to Sunday.
