Spotify spotlights GMA Network’s highly successful vodcast, Your Honor, in this year’s RADAR Creators Philippines.

Spotify RADAR is a campaign that supports and highlights emerging podcast creators, artists, and songwriters. And for the first time ever in the country, RADAR Creators is launched, with Your Honor as one of the five podcasts to watch out for!

Hosted by Chariz Solomon (Madam Cha) and Buboy Villar (Mr. Buboy) as the Chair and Vice Chair of the “House of Honorables,” Your Honor is inspired by hearings. They invite celebrities and personalities as resource persons to tackle intriguing topics, trending issues, real-life experiences, and just about anything under the sun! With Chariz and Buboy’s dynamic chemistry and comedic charm, they make every conversation fun, engaging, and impactful.

According to Buboy in an interview with the Lifestyle.INQ, “Iyon ang magic ng Your Honor. Masarap siyang pakinggan kasi kahit nakaka-relate tayo sa isyu na pinag-uusapan, napapagaan din ang loob natin.” 

“Kung tutuusin dapat seryoso ang mga hearing natin pero minsan nagiging katawa-tawa na talaga ang mga nangyayari. Sa Your Honor, seryoso at mahalagang topics ang pinag-uusapan pero dinadaan namin sa saya at tawanan,” Buboy adds.

While they lighten the atmosphere, Madam Cha and Mr. Buboy still value the importance of every topic at hand. Chariz explains, “Humor creates a safe space. I notice that because our resource persons are aware that Your Honor is a comedy podcast, they freely share their experiences and thoughts without inhibitions.”

She also mentions, “At natural sa ating mga Pilipino ang humor. We always find ways to laugh, even in the most trying times. It is normal to feel sad, but we can’t allow ourselves to get stuck there.” 

Moreover, the duo thanks Spotify for recognizing their hard work in Your Honor. “Nakakataba ng puso na pinili ng Spotify ang Your Honor. Gusto naming mas marami pang sumama sa aming hearing kada Sabado kaya malaking tulong ito para sa amin para mas makilala kami,” says Buboy.

Chariz reiterates, “It’s a great boost for me, Buboy, and our team to continue to create fun and meaningful conversations that celebrate unique Filipino experiences.”
