Ilocos and Cagayan Valley communities are glowing with color and holiday cheer as several Christmas villages and displays draw crowds of families, children, and tourists this season.

A candy-themed Christmas village in Candon City, Ilocos Sur has become a popular stop for visitors. The area is filled with dessert-inspired decorations, bright lights, and colorful designs that many say feel “Disneyland-like.” Children and families also enjoy the nearby food stalls that complete the holiday atmosphere.

In Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, a Christmas village continues to attract visitors, with bright lights and a giant parol as the centerpiece. The place resembles a lively arcade because of the multi-colored lighting.

Meanwhile, the plaza in Sual, Pangasinan lit up with its own Christmas displays. Residents cheered as the town switched on its giant Christmas tree and ended the night with a fireworks show enjoyed by many children.

In Dagupan City, life-sized Santa Claus decorations in Lucao District have become a roadside attraction.

Two five-foot-tall Santa and Nutcracker figures greet visitors at the entrance, while more Christmas displays, such as colorful trees, parachuting Santas, and Santa figures pulled by reindeer, fill the area.

According to the establishment owner behind the Dagupan display, the annual setup has become a tradition that allows him to share the spirit of Christmas with the community.
