Roxie Smith has been appointed to represent Baguio in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, announced during an intimate sashing ceremony followed by a press conference last February 2 at a hotel in Makati.
The Sparkle talent– born Roxanne Allison Baeyens– took to social media to share the good news, posting highlight clips from the event and dazzling snapshots from her photoshoot.
“A dream with no limits. Hello Universe!” wrote Roxie in an Instagram carousel of her donning an elaborate silver and blue stone-studded crown and wearing the Miss Universe Baguio sash while in a sleek and sparkling custom Fatima Beltran silver sequin gown.
Roxie’s forthcoming stint at the national tilt is a pageantry comeback of sorts for the Sparkle talent. She was crowned Ms. Earth Philippines at the height of the pandemic in 2020.
She went on to represent the country in a virtual Miss Earth 2020 where she claimed the Miss Earth - Water title by placing in the Top 4.
Prior to winning Miss Earth, the 28-year-old beauty queen and actress also won Face of Tourism Philippines in 2019.
Roxie, a Filipino-Belgian, was born and raised in Baguio, and attended school at Baguio City National High School. She finished her tertiary education at Saint Louis University with a degree in Tourism Management.
