The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences held its 98th Academy Awards, famously known as the Oscars, on Monday, giving prestige to the best titles and film outputs in 2025.
Autumn Durald Arkapaw– A Filipino-American cinematographer– etched her name in Oscars history by becoming the first woman, and the first person of color, to take the Best Cinematography nod.
One Battle After Another impressed at the 98th Academy Awards, raking in six trophies including Best Picture during the ceremony held March 15 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The film also earned Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, while Michael B. Jordan’s Best Actor made for one of four trophies won by Ryan Coogler’s Sinners.
