Thousands of festival-goers flocked to Clark, Pampanga for a two-day hot air balloon and music festival, drawn by colorful aerial displays, live performances, and interactive attractions.

Crowds lined up for free tethered rides on hot air balloons, with many visitors experiencing the activity for the first time.

“First time ko kasing makita ‘yung hot air balloons so kaya na ano ako… very good experience,” Rodel Chan, a festival-goer who traveled from Quezon City, said.

Pilots and organizers said the event continues to grow each year, attracting both local and international participants.

“I always keep coming back because I like it, I love the people. This event is growing year by year… Everytime we bring the balloon up I can see happy, smiling people and that makes it all worthwhile,” Jon Gates, a hot air balloon pilot, said.

Aside from the balloon rides, live performances by original Pilipino music (OPM) artists energized the crowd, with festival-goers singing along to popular hits.

Visitors also explored interactive booths and sampled Kapampangan food offered at various stalls.

Organizers capped the event with a fireworks display as the two-day celebration concluded.
