Following the remarkable success of the action-drama series “Mga Batang Riles,” “Sanggang-Dikit FR,” “Never Say Die,” and the recently premiered “The Master Cutter,” GMA Entertainment Group officially launches its high-stakes action-drama series “Taskforce Firewall,” airing beginning May 25. 

Aiming to raise awareness and promote the prevention of rampant cybercrimes through compelling storytelling, “Taskforce Firewall” is about a group of individuals brought together by fate and united by a mission to become cyber protectors. Headlining the star studded cast are Kapuso Action Drama Actress Kylie Padilla as Isa Cervantes, the heart of the Firewall and a disciplined strategist living in the shadow of her parents' legacy and  Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob Miguel Tanfelix as Galo Villareal, a former soldier driven by personal trauma and thrust into handling cybercrime cases. 

Joining them are Jak Roberto as Hex Silverio, a survivor-turned-hacker with a highly weaponized intelligence used in solving crimes, while Kyline Alcantara delivers her natural elegance and sharp personality to the role of Callie Sandoval, the team’s chosen financial brain. Buboy Villar stars as Jhay-jhay Gonzaga, the VFX eye of the team and the Firewall’s go-to drone and video specialist.

Adding depth to the story are some of the industry’s most respected veteran actors. Allen Dizon plays Hernan, a father longing to reconcile with his daughter, Isa. Dominic Ochoa takes on the role of Franco, the director of PBI, who pushes the Firewall team to their full potential. Glenda Garcia portrays Tita Glo, a nurturing yet practical guide within the PBI office. 

Joining the cast are Rodjun Cruz, Shayne Sava, Cheska Fausto, Anna Abad Santos, John Vic De Guzman, with the special participation of Yasmien Kurdi, Mark Herras, Lexi Gonzales.

The series is produced by the GMA Entertainment Group, headed by Officer-in-Charge and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Senior Assistant Vice President for Drama Ali Nokom-Dedicatoria, and Executive Producer Mary Joy Lumboy-Pili.

The show’s creative team consists of Creative Director Aloy Adlawan, Creative Head Des Garbes - Severino, Creative Consultant RJ Nuevas,  Head Writer Lobert De Jesus Villela, Writers Reynaldo Roque Jr., John Anthony Medilo Rodulfo, and Brainstormers Abner Tulagan, Charrie Avendaño.

Directed by Rico Gutierrez and Associate Director Mark Kevin De Vela, “Taskforce Firewall” is not just a show, but also a movement to build awareness, resilience, and justice in the digital age.
