GMA Prime’s action hit series “Taskforce Firewall” continues to raise awareness about rampant cybercrime cases through intense fight scenes and deeper confrontations that keep viewers hooked every night.

This week, another cybercrime case connected to online gaming challenges “Team Firewall,” led by Isa (Kylie Padilla), and “Major Crime,” led by her husband, Martin (Luis Hontiveros). After the intense clash Isa had with co-firewall member Leila (Cheska Fausto) over Martin, she still managed to keep the team focused and ready to solve a case involving disappearing children. Meanwhile, Martin remains determined to make their marriage work, but Isa refuses to reconcile.

This emotional turning point made a personal impact on lead star Kylie Padilla, who actually co-wrote the scene alongside director Rico Gutierrez and the writers of the show. “Direk Rico and the writers of Taskforce Firewall respectfully invite our input as actors. I have always loved to write; I just recently came from Ricky Lee’s writing workshop. So, to have a chance to co-write a scene has been a dream come true,” Kylie shared.

Following a week of resolving ransomware issues to betrayals and personal breaking point, Kylie opened up about co-writing confrontational scenes, her relationship with the cast, and how she appreciates the love she’s been receiving through the show.

In a recent post, Kylie expressed her appreciation for the bond created inside the set of the primetime action series, not only with the creative members of the production but most especially with her co-actors.

She highlighted her buddy-cop relationship with her partner Miguel Tanfelix as a pleasant surprise, “Our onscreen chemistry was a surprise for me as well. But I really find Isa and Galo’s dynamic charming. Their friendship and buddy cop relationship is not loud, but you know they have each other’s back.” Noting that portraying strong, non-romantic bonds feels especially authentic. Despite the intense drama, Kylie revealed that the cast maintains a lighthearted atmosphere behind the scenes. The Taskforce Firewall ensemble features Kylie and Miguel, alongside Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, Cheska Fausto, and Buboy Villar.

Directed by Rico Gutierrez and Associate Director Mark Kevin De Vela, Taskforce Firewall airs weeknights at 8:55 p.m. after The Master Cutter on GMA Prime, Heart of Asia, and online via Kapuso Stream and GMA Play, with a delayed telecast on GTV at 10:30 p.m. Global Pinoys can also watch the program via GMA Pinoy TV.
