A 34-year-old man was arrested for using improvised dynamite while fishing in Barangay Mangcawayan, Vinzons, Camarines Norte.
The Vinzons Municipal Police Station monitored the individual and awaited his return to shore. When he did, authorities swooped in on him and confiscated approximately 150 kilograms of fish.
The fish were turned over to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to confirm explosives were used to catch them.
The suspect is now in the custody of authorities.
