At least 10 wanted persons were arrested in one-day police operations in Caraga region.

The Police Regional Office-Caraga (PRO-13) said Butuan City Police Office had the highest number of arrests with four, followed by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-13 and Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office with two each.

Surigao del Sur Provincial Police Office and Regional Intelligence Division-13 both had one apprehension.

One of the arrested persons was identified as Alex Ecleo, who is tagged as number four most wanted person in the region. He was arrested in Barangay Sabang, Surigao City for acts of lasciviousness charges.

Police said the suspect allegedly assaulted a minor sexually in Surigao City in 2023.

“These notable accomplishments reflect the efforts of our operatives on the ground to bring wanted individuals to justice. We are keeping substantial strides in the conduct of manhunt operations against those sought by the law,” PRO-13 Director, Brigadier General Kirby John Kraft, said.
