Members of the Coast Guard Station Surigao del Sur and other concerned offices launched a rescue operation in flooded areas in Bislig City on Monday, January 29, 2024.
At least 13 families in Barangays Tabon and Mangagoy were forced to leave their homes and look for a safer ground after experiencing chest-deep floodwater.
The flood victims are staying temporarily at the evacuation center.
