Personnel of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) 7 arrested a 31-year-old woman in Pinamungajan town, midwest Cebu on February 5, 2024 for alleged exploitation of her own children via cybersex activities.
Alias “Châ-châ” has reportedly been using her own children to pose nude in front of the webcam and perform lewd acts in exchange for money.
Aside from her eight-year-old and 12-year-old children, she also has done the same reportedly to a 14-year-old relative of her live-in partner.
Four cases are expected to be filed against the suspect.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development 7 took custody of the children.
According to Atty. Contessa Lastimoso, NBI 7 spokesperson, the operation was carried out in coordination with Homeland Security Agency and International Justice Mission.
