The vehicle of the driver who hit and left a student dead at the vicinity of Redemptorist Church in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City is now at the Guadalupe Police Station.
The suspect who owns allegedly the sports utility vehicle (SUV) with blinkers turned over the car to policemen pending investigation.
The suspect hit allegedly Jeslar Uriel Larumbe, 23 years old, a two-time Most Valuable Player of Don Bosco Greywolves (basketball team of Don Bosco Technical College-Cebu) in the morning of February 3, 2024, but did not stop to check on the condition of the victim.
The suspect said to be a member of the LGBTQ community is found to be a resident of Barangay Guadalupe.
The SUV that hit the student was captured by a CCTV at an establishment near the Redemptorist Church.
