A van veers out of control after its tire exploded along the TPLEX in Rosales, Pangasinan, leaving an elderly woman and two men dead, and 14 others injured.
The aftermath of the accident was caught on video.
The van was going to Manaoag carrying a family from Caloocan City when its tire exploded, causing the vehicle to swerve erratically and hit a street barrier.
"Nakita natin na ‘yung gulong ay used na; parang matagal na itong gamit. Based sa pagtatanong natin, ‘yung van ay nabili ng second hand," PMAJ. Glenn Dulay, Chief of Rosales Police Station, said.
The bodies of the deceased have been transported to Caloocan City while those injured are recuperating in the hospital, as of this writing.
