The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) received a bomb threat early afternoon on Valentine’s Day via an email to its main campus.
In response, authorities canceled classes across all 13 campuses of NEUST across the province.
The Explosives Ordnance Division of Cabanatuan City PNP responded to the threat promptly and found no bomb in any of the campus.
Authorities said that bomb threats had also been received by government offices and agencies in other parts of Luzon and the country on February 12, 2024.
Some educational institutions and workplaces in North and Central Luzon suspended classes and work temporarily.
