A man who was reported missing since February 18, 2024 was found dead on February 20, 2024.
His body was discovered dumped at the roadside in Barangay Sumaguan, Municipality of Argao in southeastern Cebu Province at around 8 a.m.
He was found to be lying on his back, blindfolded, his hands were tied behind back, and with five gunshot wounds on his body, according to the Argao Police.
A slug of a caliber .45 pistol was also found near the body, the police added.
The victim, Bret Owen Amolo, 29 years old, was identified by his mother.
As of this writing, Argao Police are yet to determine the motive of the crime and the identity of the perpetrator.
