Iloilo-1 Electric Cooperative (ILECO-1) announced of a scheduled power interruption on March 10, 2024 (Sunday) based on a request of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

The power interruption is set from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (12 hours).

ILECO-1 said that NGCP will conduct interchanging of Sta. Barbara-Miagao-Hamtic 69kV line and Sta. Barbara–Ingore 69kV line connection to 69kV Sta. Barbara switchyard, impedance testing of 138kV Sta. Barbara-San Jose Buenavista L2 (portion connected at bypass line from Sta. Barbara Substation of NGCP to Bolong Substation of ILECO I).

Affected areas include the entire municipalities of Alimodian, Cabatuan, Guimbal, Igbaras, Leon, Leganes, Maasin, Miagao, Oton, San Miguel, San Joaquin, Tigbauan, Tubungan; 

????ortion of Pavia: Aganan (Don Julio Village, CPU Centennial Homes); Amparo, Balabag (Avida, Monticello, Parc Regency, Providence); Cabugao Sur (portion), Jibao-an (Savannah, Lumina, Eon Centennial Home, Pepsi Cola, Lessandra); Maliao, Pandac (Centro Verde, DECA 1, 2, 3; Westville); Pal-agon, portion of Ungka II (Parc Regency);

Whole municipality of Sta. Barbara, except Cabugao Norte.

“We humbly ask for your understanding on this NGCP scheduled power interruption. Power may be restored earlier than or as scheduled, so please consider all lines and equipment energized,” ILECO-1 further said in its advisory.
