Newlyweds in the Municipality of Malabuyoc in southern Cebu Province lost their money worth P100,000 which they kept reportedly in the under-seat compartment of their motorcycle.
The supposedly merry occasion ended up in a dismal mood as the couple reportedly put off their photo opportunities with guests to report the incident first to the police station after taking their meals in a quick reception.
The wedding ceremony took place at 6 a.m. on March 7, 2024. After the ceremony, they headed for their parked motorcycle only to find that the vehicle’s seat was removed forcibly to get access to the U-box (compartment).
It was learned that there was a CCTV camera installed in the area but it is far from the church. From where the motorcycle was parked, the view was also obstructed reportedly by a tree.
