A 16-year-old boy died after his motorcycle crashed into an electric post in Barangay Buenlag in Mangaldan, Pangasinan.

The victim was identified as Khylle Ashlley Aquino.

In a CCTV footage, the motorcycle is seen moving uncontrollably before crashing into the post by the road. Another CCTV footage showed the boy already sprawled on the ground after the crash. 

According to the police, the boy was on his way home when he reportedly tried to overtake a tricycle but he lost control of his motorcycle when he hit the bigger vehicle in the process.

"Nasagi [niya] ang tricycle [at pagkatapos] nawalan [siya] ng kontrol sa pagmamaneho kaya nag slide at tumama sa poste ng kuryente," PCapt. Rommel Dulay, spokesperson for Mangaldan Police Station, said.

The boy’s father, Bong, shared that his son appeared to have had a premonition of the accident. 

Prior to the accident, the boy reportedly sent a text message to a friend, saying he had dreamed of being in an accident and dying. 

Bong could only hope they knew of the premonition so they could do something to prevent it from happening.

"Alam na niya ang mangyayari sa kanya… sana nagsabi siya sa akin para nakontra namin," Bong said.
