A five-year-old girl in Angeles City, Pampanga who went missing was seen on CCTV being carried by an unidentified man down a footbridge. 

In Oscar Oida’s report on 24 Oras, the girl, Margaux Alliyah Dela Cruz or "Ally" was seen last outside her grandmother’s house in Barangay Baligabo on March 17, 2024 wearing a blue shirt.

According to Ally’s grandmother, Teresita Dela Cruz, her granddaughter had asked for food before she went missing. 

"Humihingi po siya ng pagkain… ngayon, sabi ko, ‘sandali lang magsasangag ako’… Ngayon, nakita ko siya naglalaro pa dyan [sa labas]… may itinapon akong plastic napansin ko bukas yung gate, tinawag ko [siya] walang sumasagot sakin," she said.

CCTV footage reviewed by authorities showed Ally running along the sidewalk before crawling onto a footbridge. 

Moments later, she was seen being carried down the bridge by an unidentified man already wearing a hat and a mask. 

The police will review the CCTV footage again in the hopes of tracing where the man might have come from and where he has taken the child.

If the man’s intentions are pure, the police urged him to bring the child to the nearest police station. 

The child’s mother, Helen Dela Cruz, pleads for her daughter’s return.

"Kuya, kung naririnig mo [ako], nandito kami nakikipag usap sayo, sana isuli niyo na po yung anak ko. Maawa naman po kayo sana, ibalik niyo na po samin yung bata parang awa niyo na po," she said.
