Two men died in separate shooting incidents in Camarines Sur and Masbate, with suspects and motives remaining unidentified.
In Pamplona, Camarines Sur, a 26-year-old man was shot dead while sleeping in a hammock on the balcony of his home in Barangay San Isidro.
The motive remains unknown by authorities.
According to the initial investigation, the victim was described as quiet and kind-hearted, with no known enemies.
Michael Vincent Fortunado, the Chief of Police of Pamplona MPS, said.
Meanwhile, in Masbate City, chaos ensued when a 30-year-old chicken vendor was shot multiple times in broad daylight at the public market.
The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
Police authorities are scouring CCTV footage and seeking credible witnesses to aid in the identification and apprehension of the suspect.
Ariel Neri, the Chief of Police of Masbate City, said.
A .45-caliber pistol believed to be used in the crime was recovered at the scene.
Jonathan Canino, the father of the victim in Masbate City, pleads for justice for his son.
